This picture represents the young seven year old girl in the book April Raintree. This seven year old girls name is April, she became a foster kid when she was very young because her parents were alcoholics. April hasn't had the best life. She lived with foster parents who didn't treat her the best and made her do all the work. She wasnt treated right by these foster parents but she still kept her head high and kept moving, she didn't let them bring her down even though she wasn't happy were she was. I chose this picture because it reminds me of April, she looks depressed and not dressed very well just like she was in the book. This picure gives a good idea of how she is feeling. When I look at this picture of this child i feel sorry for her and thats how i feel towards April in the story. Life isn't always fair to everyone but you still have to keep moving on like April is doing in this novel.
